1-year-old boy found in hot vehicle dies at Bethesda Hospital

A little boy who would have turned two next month died on Saturday after he was found inside of a hot vehicle.

The 1-year-old boy was transported to Bethesda Hospital for treatment, according to Delray Beach Police. First responders took the boy to Bethesda Hospital.

Delray Beach Police suspect that Saveur was trapped in the vehicle for two hours.

Family say the devastated dad has been hit very hard by the tragedy. Police now want to know how this could happen.

Police found Khayden unconscious when they arrived at the scene and administered CPR. 'I'm scared for him'. "If they're sitting in the driveway, hide the keys", Moschella said.

Temperatures in the Delray Beach area reportedly touched 90C in the shade on Saturday.

The Sun Sentinel reported the auto belonged to Khayden's father, Action Saint Sauveur, and that it was parked in the driveway with a dead battery.

"Right now Delray Beach Police detectives are investigating to try to determine exactly what happened that led to this child being left in this vehicle", said Delray Beach Police spokesperson Dani Moschella.

A Florida family is distraught after a 1-year-old boy playing with friends died in a parked vehicle Saturday and police want to know how it happened. Several cars were seen lining the street as groups of people stood outside.

'He was always a jumpy little boy, ' Anderson Exantus, 19, said. "He had lots of energy". And his parents treated him really well'.
