Wendy Williams isn't always our favorite, but she has just done real good.

Martyn Hett, a 29-year-old pop culture fanatic and PR professional, was a follower of Williams' show, the media giant told her audience, and noted that he was supposed to be an audience member in yesterday's and today's tapings.

Martyn Hett had planned a trip to New York City this week that included tickets to two episodes of The Wendy Williams Show. Hett's friend was floored and said that he would love knowing what Williams is doing to honor one of her loyal viewers. "It's there for a reason".

"You remember the Manchester bombing from last week?"

'There were 22 innocent people killed.

Hett, 29, was one of the 22 lives lost at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester last week.

A vigil celebrating Hett's life was held on Sunday in Greater Manchester, where his mother spoke about the #BeMoreMartyn hashtag being used in his honor on social media.

Wendy continued, "He saved for 2 years to have a fabulous time in NY and come to our show".

Williams sparked controversy earlier this year when VH1 made a decision to have her host their RuPaul's Drag Race viewing party.

A few weeks after the backlash went viral, VH1 pulled the segment entirely.

Wendy concluded: "So Martyn, in honour of you, we're keeping that chair open. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family".
