Now, Queen Bey's dad Mathew Knowles has confirmed on Twitter that the twins have actually arrived.

Neither Beyonce, one of the world's most popular singers, nor her husband, the rap star and entrepreneur Jay Z, has made any announcement about the birth.

"Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends", a source told People magazine.

Beyonce has given birth to her twins, according to reports in U.S. media. "Jay and I are also fools for our daughters, although he's going to have me beat once those twins show up", the former president and father of two joked.

In true Beyonce fashion, she announced her pregnancy with a surprise Instagram post in February, dropping a picture of herself draped in a light-green veil and surrounded by flowers. We have been blessed two times over. But no concrete details regarding sexes or names of the babies have been revealed.

Well wishers have been flooding social media since Saturday night. "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes", the Carters said in the post. She pulled out of her headlining spot at April's Coachella music festival in southern California, however, on the advice of doctors.

Beyoncé and Jay Z welcomed their first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter on January 7, 2012.

Later that month, Beyoncé delivered a visually stunning performance at the Grammy Awards and sang songs from her album "Lemonade".

"We are happy to announce the arrival of our attractive daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012", the couple said in a statement to People magazine the Monday after her birth.
