Zamir White is the seventh commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 recruiting class.

The country's top running back recruit is announcing his decision today.

- Scotland County High School running back Zamir White will continue his football career at the University of Georgia. He had five hats on the table, picking between Ohio State, Alabama, UNC, Georgia and Clemson. His close friend and former Scotland teammate Jonathan Smith is an inside linebacker for the Tar Heels. White plans to early enroll and will be on campus in January. He's a dynamic addition to a Georgia recruiting class that badly needed a boost.

If White sticks to his pledge, it shouldn't take long for him to get a chance to show whether he was worth all the hype.

This was a huge commitment for the Bulldogs as they will lose their top two running backs, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel to graduation after the 2017-2018 season.

A Gurley-like true freshman campaign (1,385 yards, 7.3 yards per carry, 17 touchdowns) is a pie-in-the-sky expectation for White.

He's the first RB prospect that rated No.1 in the nation to commit to the Bulldogs since 5-star Isaiah Crowell in 2011.
