After losing in five games to the Golden State Warriors in the 2017 NBA Finals, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is right back at it and has a message for all of the critics "praying on his downfall".

Speaking on the stage at Thursday's parade celebrating the Warriors' championship, Green pinned the start of the superteam trend on James. "'I never played on a superteam.' You started the superteam, bro", he said. LeBron James brought an Ultimate Warrior T-shirt all the way to Oakland for Game 7 last season, because if the Cavs pulled off the upset, he wanted to waste no time in unleashing the burns.

Green continued to mock James' comments by thanking Durant, who was the Finals MVP, for joining Golden State's "super team". "I don't believe we're a superteam here". LeBron makes reference to the Houston Rockets in the mid 90s, when Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler teamed up, and also the Los Angeles Lakers of the early 2000s. The Cavs took the 2016 championship in seven games, beating the Warriors twice in Oracle Arena.

"Road Trippin, '" it should be noted, is hosted by Uninterrupted, which James works with and also hosts Green's podcast, "Dray Day". When Sam Amick of USA Today asked Thompson about them in November, Thompson said, "Yeah, I don't get it cuz I'm not dead".

James responded by taking a screenshot of Green wearing the shirt and firing off a "that's what she said" response.

Green, who admitted he's "petty", said he had an even crazier idea for a T-shirt design, but waited too long to have it made.

So before just automatically saying "MJ will always be the G.O.A.T", lets appreciate and acknowledge what this kid from Akron, Ohio is doing before our very eyes despite the tougher circumstances.

"My motivation? It hasn't changed", James said.

He then made fun of James' new, bald haircut, screenshotting a clip from James' video and posting it to his own Instagram. The events, the celebration of championships they had yet to win.
