The movie stars Kirti Kulhari and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. The nation faced a lot of events during the emergency. While we generally talk about it in a matter-of-fact voice, Madhur Bhandarkar has decided to make a full fledged film on the time.

The trailer of the film will be out today! Would it also get into the legal muddle like Kissa Kursi Ka?

Indu Sarkar trailer: Several splendid dialogues in the two-and-a-half minute trailer might shake you from within. The simple and handsome stammering girl who just aspires to be a "good wife" turns into a bold speaker and rebel who voices against the emergency. The film has the protagonist played Kirti who opposes this forcefully imposed emergency.

Elaborating on her biggest challenge during the making of the film, she added, "Stammering was the most hard part of the film". While on that, Neil Nitin Mukesh quite stands out as the more aggressive Gandhi brother (who later died in a plane crash, one which he was piloting). He is shown in Machiavellian light. But the trailer shows something different.

Speaking about her character, the leading lady of the film Kirti said, "The confidence in my character is not a paradox". It is great to see Neil on-screen after such a long hiatus. He is going all out against the Congress government of that era, particularly with Sanjay Gandhi (who had created quite a furore then as the man behind the curtain) and his mother, Indira Gandhi. She has got very few seconds in the trailer.

The trailer sees Mukesh looking unrecognisable yet highly convincing in the role of politician Sanjay Gandhi. The makers have also revealed some of the posters of the films and all have been appreciated by the audience.
