Draymond Green, who finds emotional spots the way magnets find metal, was thought to have received a first-quarter technical, but it turned out the T was on Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

Green finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds in the Warriors' 137-116 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers that cut their lead to 3-1.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - A year ago for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Golden State general manager Bob Myers sat alongside suspended forward Draymond Green next-door to Oracle Arena in a suite at the Oakland Athletics game. Cleveland won games 6 and 7 to cap the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history and dethrone the Warriors.

Warriors center Zaza Pachulia and Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert also were each charged with technical fouls with 1:10 left in the third after both got tangled on the floor going after a loose ball.?

"I was looking at reality", Green quickly replied.

"I don't pay that much attention to anybody in Cleveland, honestly", he said. "I carried the lessons that I learned with me".

"I knew I didn't [have a tech] so maybe I'm just a littler sharper than others then, huh?"

"When the technical foul was called on Draymond Green, we reported it to the table". "Because you know once your crowd gets into the game it kind of motivates the guys into a different direction and peps them up a bit". They be at home thinking about me. "Our intensity wasn't the same as it was in the first three games, so we'll get back to that tomorrow".

"I'm standing my ground", Jones said.

Green was assessed a technical foul with about six minutes left in the third quarter of Friday's game - seemingly his second of the game after getting one in the first half - his ejection was automatic.

Such moments bring questions about Green's mental improvement, ones Green shrugged off earlier in the series.

"I've just been playing basketball". Because I'm a lot smarter than people think.

"Not worrying about the officials and all that". I just gave my thoughts. People tend to want you to change, but being me has gotten me here. "So I went over the edge before - fool me once, you can't fool me twice". Green protested. Kerr protested.

"Did y'all watch Draymond Green talk behind the ref's back to Tristan Thompson?"
