Aisha Tyler has always been very open about her life during The Talk's panel discussions.

"You have made the last six years of my life so solid and amusing and smart and just secure, I couldn't fly this plane with any other person to my right", Julie Chen added.

Sweden's Prince Nicolas turned 2, and the country celebrated by releasing new, adorable photos.

Ahead of her announcement on the show, Tyler wrote about "change" on Twitter, possibly hinting about her exit. I could not have done with this without you. In an emotional announcement on the live show, Tyler revealed that she is stepping down from the Emmy-winning daytime chat fest at the end of the current season.

She also serves as the voice of Lana Kane - one of the main characters - on the FX animated comedy series "Archer".

"Saying goodbye to Aisha is a bittersweet moment for all of us at CBS Daytime and THE TALK", said Angelica McDaniel, Executive Vice President, Daytime Programs and Syndicated Program Development, CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Distribution.

Tyler continued on, explaining that directing her first feature film, Axis, was something she's "always dreamed of doing".

Tyler cited her busy schedule as the reason for her departure. Therefore, she has made a decision to leave "The Talk" when Season 7 ends in July.

Aisha Tyler announced on the air Thursday that her increasingly busy career prompted the decision. She said working with co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, #Sheryl Underwood and Sharon Osbourne is such a joy that it never feels like work to her. Tyler was forced to spill her personal business sooner than she wanted to after her ex filed divorce documents in court.

Tyler also explained it was important to pursue directing because of the opportunities that are starting to arise for women.
