"There's no airtime for this orange [person]", in season four of the show, actress Ilana Glazer told USA Today.

The Trump bleeping comes after Jacobson and Glazer had to rewrite a lot of the show. The former first lady even made a cameo on "Broad City" past year.

After all, this Comedy Central series about two liberated young women in NY even had an episode in which its co-creators and stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson work for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. If you think Trump is a problem, as Broad City does, then maybe take a stand that amounts to something more than putting your head in the sand and calling it a diss.

"We wrote (Season 4) being like, 'Here we go!" In fact, the election of Donald Trump had an adverse impact on the fourth season, as Ilana Glazer revealed to USA Today that they had written episodes in the mindset of a Hillary Clinton America until "this game-show host became president" and they were forced to rewrite a good deal of the season.

The show's no stranger to politics - in its third season, Ultimate Kween Clinton herself made a cameo, though Jacobson at the time said her appearance wasn't about "trying to make a statement".

"We bleep his name the whole season", Glazer added to USA Today.

"A witch is really just a woman who's in touch with her womanhood", Glazer says. "So Ilana works through her Trump-related [hang-up] and it's wild". Season 4 kicks off on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
