Aspen Dental Provides Free Dental Care to Veterans

Paducah is one location of almost 450 Aspen Dental practices which opened their doors to provide free dental care to thousands of Veteran's across the nation.

He ended up getting two cracked teeth removed for free as part of Aspen Dental's Annual Day of Service.

Aspen Dental says they host the event because veterans might have insurance, but lack having dental care.

"It's fantastic because nowadays dental work or anything is a fortune; it saves me a ton of money", said veteran Melvin Alvarez.

U.S. Army veteran Alfred Eugene Venham said, "It means the world, it's like hitting the lottery it's incredible it's truly wonderful that there's somebody local that cares enough for our veterans who've went thousands of miles away from their homeland to fight to come back and get this taken care of".

"It's; I can't explain it, I'd cry if I tried to explain how much it meant to me for them to do this", says Air Force Veteran Joan Thomson. In San Antonio, Aspen Dental clinics were booked and for many veterans, it was their first dental checkup in years.
