7 hurt in Chicago accident involving school bus, motorcycle

Three adults and four children were injured Monday morning, when a school bus and a motorcycle crashed in the Roseland neighborhood. Police said they responded to a crash at the intersection of 109th Street and Wabash Avenue at about 6:44 a.m. Chopper 7HD flew over the scene as ambulances responded to the scene.

Chicago police were able to confirm that the driver of the motorcycle was transferred to Christ Hospital.

Authorities say those injured include two 15-year-old girls, one 15-year-old boy and one 17-year-old boy.

One other person involved in the crash refused medical treatment, according to the Fire Department.

Officials said 109th Street was shut down from MI to Wabash Avenues during the investigation into the crash.
