To their credit, the museum-goers don't seem very surprised at the sight of Katy Perry herself.

Today, Vanity Fair posted a video titled "Katy Perry Goes Undercover as an Art Exhibit at the Whitney Museum", which nearly describes the actual footage therein. "Ready to punk some b**ches?"

For the prank, she transformed the cover art from new single "Bon Appetit" into a three-dimensional sculpture, serving up her own head on a platter surrounded by fruit and completely scaring the tuna salad out of innocent museum-goers.

"So, this artist's name is Kathryn Hudson", Derek said as he guided his first group of guests into the installation, adding "This is a one-time, site specific installation".

When Blasberg asked the surprised guests if they knew who the blonde was, many were quiet until one piped up, 'That looks like Katy Perry'.

The punchline came when Perry suddenly popped her eyes open and spoke, startling the puzzled art lovers.

The album art comes just days after the singer announced plans to take her new music on the road with Witness: The Tour, which will kick off this September in the United States before heading to Canada.

Perry also handed out pies in a food truck in the middle of Times Square in a unique way to make sure that her song hit as many ears as possible.
