Game Developers Enjoy Playing the Entire Game at Home

No doubt fans will be jealous of those developers now playing Destiny 2 at home, but the important detail is that the sequel is in a playable state. Anticipation is high for the first numbered sequel to Bungie's 3014 smash hit shared world shooter game, which has basically spawned a genre all of its own.

What exactly it is that will have those fans talking is up for speculation, but a recent Destiny 2 promo video suggests the reveal will include the unveiling of at least one new weapon class, the submachine gun.

With just 3 days left until Destiny 2's worldwide gameplay reveal on May 18, the community are once again picking over what little pre-release info they can. Youtube users Arekkz Gaming, who made a good analysis of the teaser video, points out that the weapon being held in the teaser video might be a brand new weapon, an SMG. There will be livestream on Destiny Twitch channel and select Odeon cinemas. And you can also see so many opportunities. We are inching closer to Destiny 2's big reveal day by day, and we will finally have more information about the game on May 18 when Bungie shows of its gameplay trailer amongst other things. Smith said it has been "pretty motivating" to play the game at home, as it inspires and energizes the team to come back to work with ideas for how to further improve the game.

In preparation for the launch of Destiny 2 on September 8, developer Bungie has resurrected its studio-focused podcast and shared some general tidbits about the sequel.
