CW to reboot 'Dynasty,' '80s prime-time soap opera, in fall

The CW canceled "Frequency", "No Tomorrow", "Reign" and "The Vampire Diaries".

CW's new "Dynasty" will have an all-new cast - headed by Grant Show - playing a new generation of ultra-rich Carringtons locked in an ongoing battle for wealth and power with each other.

Speaking with reporters earlier today, The CW chief Mark Pedowitz suggested that they are open to bringing in some nostalgic guest casting, there was nothing specific planned as of yet. From 2008-2009, she played Rose Baker in the comedy Privileged.
