'The Last Jedi' to reveal more about Rey's parents

Star Wars Battlefront II will offer everything players loved about the last installment, and adds new modes that we know the fans want, including an entirely new story developed in partnership with Lucasfilm. It will follow Iden Versio and Inferno Squad, an Imperial spec-ops team, following the Battle of Endor and their battle to avenge Emperor Palpatine. Abrams and suggested a reunion between Skywalker and Harrison Ford's Han Solo, just as Solo meets his end at the hands of his onscreen son Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will launch on November 17th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. He noted that that game's "community is falling apart because there are simply not many people playing the different modes". Besides everything else, DICE has shown interest in launching the game also on the new platforms of Nintendo Switch and Project Scorpio.

The game's reveal clip also hints at what else to expect from Star Wars: Battlefront II's multiplayer campaign, with brief appearances from characters like Darth Maul, Yoda and Kylo Ren.

2015's Star Wars Battlefront notably did not have a single player campaign. "Battle on land and in space in an expanded multiplayer experience with iconic heroes and villains, thrilling space battles, and a deep progression and customization system".

The game will also bring back heroes, which can also be upgraded as you play and unlock abilities. A new aspect of the game is players can upgrade their heroes and troopers.

The Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition of Battlefront II includes a slew of bonuses for those who preorder. The standard version is $60, while the deluxe is $80.
