The Queen celebrated her 91st birthday over the weekend and Rihanna seemed to commemorate the big occasion as well. but of course with Rihanna flair.

"I think it's a bit degrading".

Rihanna, a native of Barbados, posted the shots as the queen celebrates her 91st birthday. "It's not that deep". "She hasn't said anything, so why are you?" another commenter responded.

The 29-year-old replaced her face in a Dior ad, adding the caption: 'haters will say it's photoshop'. This is the internet, people. "It's a total lack of respect", commented one of Rihanna's followers.

Breaking out her best "BBHMM" vibes, Queen Elizabeth II's stern interpretation of Riri's verdant ensemble lets you know she's in charge, and you had better not forget it.

Rihanna and Prince Harry during his visit to Barbados a year ago. Charles is just perpetually bitter, so I imagine he doesn't laugh at anything. Some of Rihanna's British fans took umbrage to what appeared to be a swipe at the Royal Family.

And the memes have apparently been all over the news across Europe.

What do you think, an amusing prank or this is just plain out of order? While another replied: "I don't get why you did something so stupid like this". No one wants to see a leader they care about made fun of.

Rihanna and controversy tend to go hand-in-hand; we're still catching people swoon whenever they hear the lyrics to "S&M".

She later deleted the caption due to pushback from "Mumz", a possible reference to Rihanna's own mother.
