Multiple rounds of rain possible tonight into the weekend

Wyandotte County appears to be on the edge of this area and may get some rain and storms.

Tuesday. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. The first of two systems move through today as showers and thunderstorms will be likely.

There's a slight chance of rain Monday night, and a chance of showers Tuesday. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible, and the low will be around 57.

The weather service says shower and thunderstorm activity is possible through about 11 a.m., with cloudy skies to follow. Southwest wind 5 to 13 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 21 miles per hour.

Tonight should remain mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers as the low hits 5 C. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Periods of light rain can be expected Thursday morning with breaks in the precipitation and possibly just cloud cover this afternoon.

Friday, a chance of showers, mainly before 1 p.m. The heaviest rain will stay confined to Hwy 50 and south, where there is a small chance for some localized flooding.
