"He is actually on the title track of the record, Lust for Life", Del Rey explained. The track hits all the marks that the pair have set out for themselves: Drugs, sex, death, and a dash of celebrity.

The singer has just released the title track from the album, featuring pop maverick and her frequent collaborator The Weeknd.

"Then, I also have Abel (Tesfaye), The Weeknd". "Lust For Life" features the Weeknd, who Lana has worked with in the past, and it's the second song we've heard from the album after "Love".

Lana previously teamed up on the "Cant Feel My Face" star's 2015 song "Prisoner" from "Beauty Behind The Madness" and "Stargirl Interlude" from his latest outing "Starboy". "I don't usually go back and re-edit things that much, because the songs end up sort of being what they are, but this one song I kept going back to". She said, "I had listened to his records over the years and I did think it was his vibe, so I played it for him and he liked it". A release date for the album-described as a "body of work" created by Lana and longtime collaborator Rick Nowels-has not been announced. While "Love" was as stirring and conventionally romantic as Lana is capable of getting, this song (like "Without You", "Lucky Ones", and "American") is about a more ominous kind of passion.
